Dear Friend,

It’s been a little while since my last newsletter, and I’m excited to finally sit down and bring you up to speed. Over the past months I’ve shared quick reels and short video updates on Facebook and Instagram, (If we aren’t friends on social media, let’s be friends! FB: Reece Kelly, Insta: mr.reecescup) but in this newsletter I want to give you the bigger picture of what God has been doing through this season.

Finishing the 2024 Season

ree

The close of last year took me from the island of Madagascar, to the Northwest Province of Zambia. Here I led an expedition to Mpidi Chiefdom. This Expedition served to break ground in this new area of ministry for our sector missionaries. After that expedition I crossed over into the Democratic Republic of Congo. In Congo my expedition team came along side our sector team to minister in a village on the banks of the Congo River. Then, back again to our base in Zambia for the rainy season. These places aren’t necessarily the easiest —long journeys, rough conditions, and plenty of unknowns— but people who live there are the mission. These are those, in the ends of the earth, who God has commissioned us to make into disciples.

Building in the USA

In February I returned to the United States with one clear goal: to build up my partnership team. This has been a season of connection, traveling, and meeting with new partners while also reconnecting with those of you who have stood with me faithfully. Every catch up, every prayer, every conversation has reminded me that none of this work happens alone—we are in it together, and your part is vital. If we haven’t connected yet, I will reach out soon. (Feel free to reach out if I’m taking too long, and we’ll see who reaches out first :D)

Angola Expedition

ree

This past July/August, I had the privilege of leading a month-long truck style expedition across Angola. We started on the west coast and journeyed ~ 3000km by expedition truck (1988 Mercedes Benz 1017 retired from the German military, we call it Colossus)  all the way to Livingstone, Zambia. Along the way, we ministered in three different villages, two in Angola and one in Western Provence, Zambia. Each place different from the last. We shared the Gospel with those who had never heard His name, saw the sick healed, and the oppressed set free—people met Jesus. Epic!  Traveling by truck across such vast and rugged terrain was no small feat. It was epic and challenging and beautiful, but seeing God touch lives in each community is what made every kilometer worth driving.

Where I Am Now

By mid-August I returned again to the States to continue focusing on partnership. I’m currently traveling, sharing vision, and looking for additional partners to join the team. My monthly goal is still in front of me, and I’m praying for those who God is calling to stand with me so that together we can carry the Gospel to the nations. Looking ahead, the coming months are full of opportunity. I am confident that God will bring connections that will become partners, but I need your help too. Pray for my team of partners to grow, so the vision God has laid before us can move forward. Spread the word, or share my contact with like-minded friends who may want to hear more. Your prayers, encouragement, and giving are not just support—they are partnership in the Great Commission. That means a lot to me. Thank you for being part of this story.

With gratitude,

Reece Kelly
